Me, myself & I

About me

My 50th birthday gift was a series of Sundays spent in the studio of Carrie Stanley rekindling my teenage love of art, and learning to paint with oils.

My home town, Woodstock Oxfordshire, is a passion. It’s beautiful to look at and full of coourful characters. I founded a successful local Facebook group, run a community Insta Caroline Loves Woodstock, helped throw a Woodstock wide VE Day celebration in lockdown (filmed by the BBC), have spoken to a womens’ network at Blenheim Palace, and do lots to support local businesses. So, when I wanted to show my art, setting up a local artists group Artists In Woodstock was the natural next step.

My profession is advertising and marketing. I’ve worked as a strategist in data driven marketing and customer experience, for over 30 years, and recently left the corporate world of Omnicom where I was the Chief Strategy Office of RAPP, to join a fiercely independent and creative business, Wonderhood Studios to build a customer experience studio. I am the Chair of the DMA Awards Committee.

My two great kids, Wren and Cooper, make me super proud and do my best to embarrass them with ridiculous fancy dress outfits at every opportunity.
